General FAQ's
Q:
Is it better to have our family portrait taken in the studio or
on location?
A:
The majority of our family portraits are taken outdoors because
of the beautiful location of where we live! Your family portrait
can be formal or casual depending on your clothing choices. Studio
portraiture is usually, but not limited to, a more formal portrait.
Q:
What should we wear?
A:
It is suggested that everyone in the portrait be in the same tonal
range. Solid colors look best and sleeves look better than sleeveless.
Things to avoid: strips, plaids
Q:
What time should I schedule my Family Portrait Session?
A:
The best time for outdoor photography is approximately two hours
prior to sunset. Studio sessions can be scheduled throughout the
day.
Q:
What if a person blinks, turns their head or just doesn’t
have the perfect smile?
A:
We’ve all had this happen! If this happens, we can swap heads
from a different photograph taken at the same portrait session,
so you’re guaranteed to have everyone looking their very best!

FAQ's
Q:
What will my session be like?
A:
In a word, FUN! You might be a little nervous when you first arrive
for your session, but Lisa knows how to make even the most camera-shy
person feel comfortable!
Q:
Can I bring someone to watch?
A:
Absolutely! You can have a parent, friend, brother or sister come
into the camera room and watch your session. You’ll be more
relaxed, and they’ll help make sure everything is perfect
– they can even be able to look in the camera to see exactly
what the picture will look like!
Q:
I want to wait until later in the summer for my appointment. What’s
the hurry?
A:
Even if you want to wait until later for your session, it is extremely
important that you call for your appointment time now. If you wait,
you risk having to be put on a waiting list or missing the yearbook
deadline. So don’t wait – call today!
Q:
When will my pictures be ready to see?
A:
FAST! You’ll see your Portrait Originals in a week to ten
days, your finished photographs in four to six weeks.
Q:
What if I like different poses than my parents?
A:
NO PROBLEM! Each of your photographs will be different. And when
you select your portraits, you can get different poses for your
wallets than your parents get for their wall and for relatives.
In fact, most packages allow you to have several poses, so both
you and your parents can get exactly what they want!
